A 75 – 100 kW charger is plenty for supermarkets, hotels and shopping centres, where drivers stay 30 – 60 minutes.
For sites near motorways, where every minute counts, 150 – 480 kW chargers with cooled cables bring the stop down to 15 – 25 minutes for most modern cars.
Connectors: CCS2 and GB/T
The main standard in Kosovo, Albania and across Europe is CCS2. Some ECHARGE stations also offer GB/T for cars imported from the Chinese market.
Many DC chargers carry two connectors, so two cars charge at once — with power either split or full, depending on the model.

Site preparation and lead times
Before ordering, assess available capacity, amperage and voltage, any substation upgrade, permits and compliance with local regulations. DC chargers carry lead times, so procurement should run in parallel with the site works.
Pick the right version for the environment too: liquid-cooled cables for very high power, or dry versions for lighter sites.
Modularity, scalability and OCPP
Look for modular chargers, where power is added in modules and where you can move from a standalone unit to a distributed HPC system. That keeps the investment future-proof.
Make sure the charger supports OCPP 1.6 or above — that is what lets it join the ECHARGE platform, with remote monitoring, user authentication and automatic billing.
